Official BBP Update

🇵🇷 Building the Boricua Block Party: A Community Update 🇵🇷

What started as an idea is becoming a real celebration for our community.

The vision for Boricua Block Party began with a simple belief: our culture deserves a place where it can be seen, heard, shared, and celebrated in the heart of our Cleveland community. We imagined music moving through the street, families gathering together, local businesses meeting new customers, artists sharing their work, and children seeing the pride and beauty of being Boricua all around them.

Since then, we have been working behind the scenes to turn that vision into something real. We created the Boricua Block Party identity and launched the official website so our community would have one reliable place for event information. We opened free attendee and family registration and developed application systems for vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and performers who want to help bring the block to life.

We have also gathered official vendor and permit resources, created English and Spanish information, and built a Community Hub where neighbors and event participants can stay connected. Our announcement center will become the home for confirmed schedules, deadlines, parking information, weather notices, accessibility updates, and important event-day instructions.

This work is about much more than planning a single day. We are creating a space that supports Puerto Rican culture, Cleveland entrepreneurs, local talent, families, elders, and the next generation. Every part of the event is being developed with the goal of making people feel welcomed, represented, and proud.

There is still important work ahead. Participating vendors, performers, the final program, parking guidance, accessibility details, and the event map will be announced as each part is confirmed. We want the information we share to be clear, accurate, and useful to the neighborhood and everyone planning to attend.

To every person who has registered, applied, shared the event, offered an idea, or encouraged us along the way: thank you. Each response reminds us why this celebration matters. We are building Boricua Block Party carefully, responsibly, and with love for our culture and our Cleveland community.

Cleveland—get ready. La cultura se toma la calle. ¡WEPA! 🇵🇷
